SlimStat Email Reports: Samples and Pro Scheduling
Applies to SlimStat 6.0.0 and SlimStat Pro 3.0.0 · checked
Version preview: this guide targets SlimStat 6 and Pro 3. The last verified public releases are Free 5.5.0 and Pro 2.0.0. Check your download version before following these steps. Review the upgrade guide.
Free 6 lets you preview a weekly email built from your site’s last seven days of top pages and referring domains, then send a sample to yourself. Pro 3 adds scheduled reports, chosen recipients and report selection.
Try the Free sample
Open SlimStat → Email Report, inspect the sample built from recorded site data, and select Send me a sample. This is a one-time test, not a recurring schedule. If WordPress cannot send it, check your site’s mail setup before expecting scheduled delivery.
Schedule with Pro
- Keep Free 6 and Pro 3 active, then open SlimStat → Email Report.
- Set Recipients deliberately. Email shares the selected report data with those addresses.
- Choose Frequency. Daily covers the last 24 hours, weekly the last seven days, and monthly the last 31 days. Weekly is the first-setup default.
- Tick the reports to send by name. Report IDs, field lists and detailed filters remain under Advanced for custom configurations.
- Enable Attach CSV Files if needed; HTML tables remain in the email body.
- Save and use Send test email to inspect the result before relying on the schedule.
Scheduling depends on WordPress cron and delivery depends on the site’s mail transport. A saved schedule alone does not prove that mail reached an inbox.
Heatmap and Ecommerce summaries
Heatmap insights reports the ten most-clicked pages in the email period, with available dead clicks, rage clicks, scroll depth and one investigation suggestion per page. Those signals require the corresponding heatmap capture; missing instrumentation is not evidence of zero activity.
Configured recipients can also receive scoped Ecommerce summaries after WooCommerce reporting setup. The same currency, dates, filters, coverage and metric definitions apply. Unmatched orders and provisional imports must still be considered when interpreting results.
Per-author mail is restricted to that author’s reports. Site-wide Heatmap insights and store revenue are excluded from author mail rather than being sent as if they belonged to one author. Review actual recipient scope using the test email.
Stop or troubleshoot delivery
Set Frequency → Off and save to stop scheduled reports. Pro 3 fixes the earlier behavior where Off could leave emails being sent; an existing Off setting is honored by the next scheduled-send check. Deactivating Pro also clears its email schedule.
For missing messages, confirm recipients, frequency, cron, mail delivery and the source reports’ dates/filters. For an empty section, verify that tracking, consent and permissions allow its data. Keep visitor information and private report attachments out of public support tickets.
